Swim Faster With Less Effort

The Maverick Pro is the fastest wetsuit on the planet. With it’s unrivaled performance, comfort and design, it is the choice of World Champions, Professionals, and amateurs looking for the ultimate edge on the swim.

Tech Specs

RS2 Technology

The Maverick Pro uses ROKA's patent pending centerline buoyancy system. By adding more buoyancy to the centerline of the suit and removing it from the sides, the Maverick pro helps you achieve a more efficient power transfer and rotate properly from side to side. If you are a developing swimmer and over-rotate, this will help you diagnose it. If you under-rotate, this system helps your suit get out of your way for more efficient swimming.

Yamamoto Neoprene

The Maverick Pro contains #40, #39, and Aerodome neoprene variants in a variety of thicknesses. Yamamoto neoprene is limestone-based and has a different cell structure than the more commonly used petroleum-based neoprenes from Taiwan and Korea. It is stretchier, returns to form better, and offers an excellent insulation-to-weight ratio. Yamamoto makes a variety of neoprene types, and ROKA uses a few different ones (for different reasons) in varying thicknesses, in our suits. ROKA also uses different nylon and polyester liners on the inside of the suit to balance stretch, water absorption and support. Liners have a huge impact on stretch and comfort and are often over looked by brands looking to pinch pennies.

The forearms of the Maverick Pro are a premium stretch-woven textile from Italy that's used in Olympic swimming suits. The woven textile provides more strength and natural compression than a traditional knit fabric, and this results in more durability and performance for you. The purpose of the textile forearm is to maximize proprioception — or feel — in the water. Swimming fast is all about feel for the water, and strategically placed textile is better than plain or coated neoprene.

The Maverick Pro wetsuit uses a low cut neck to enhance comfort and to seal out water while limiting choking/constriction. The neck line uses Yamamoto #40, an extra little attention to detail, to maximize stretch and comfort. As a best practice, ROKA still recommends using Body Glide to help eliminate chafing.

The ankle panels of the Maverick Pro use a 2mm panel at the base of the leg to help you kick your heel out of the suit in T1. You might not notice a difference in a changing room with a dry suit, but when you are at speed in T1, your suit will come off very easily. Each ankle panel is heat taped for durability and to allow you to cleanly shorten the leg, as needed.
